so I am new to vdjscript and as i am 43 years old i am finding learning a new language frustrating, but i am persevering. So Far i have manged to map the 8 slicer pads to my launchpad and am wondering if it is possible to have the leds follow the beatgrid like they do on the onscreen pads?

Any help would be truly appreciated.

For the Launchpad Mini try to map the Leds as ..

slicer X 'hold' ? color 'red' : slicer X ? color 'green' : color 'blue'

where X is from 1 to 8 for the 8 Pads you want to assign the slicer

I have got a behringer cmd studio 4a and I mapped a shift button to use those 8 hotcues like slicer pads [ I want to have some features from the pionner ddj sr, more specific, multi-action buttons]
I don't know how to map the leds
example
hot cue 1 :var '%shift' 0 ? var "delCue" ? delete_cue 1 : hot_cue 1 :slicer 1
led hot cue 1 :var '%shift' 0 ? var "delCue" ? hot_cue 1 ? blink 333ms : off : hot_cue 1 :

HOT1:
shift ? slicer 1 : var_equal 'delCue' 1 ? delete_cue 1 : hot_cue 1
LED_HOT1:
shift ? slicer 1 : var_equal 'delCue' 1 ? hot_cue 1 ? blink 333ms : off : hot_cue 1
