It's a simple one, loopCut
Only one dial, that gives a % of the loop that will be audible
Set the dial to 50% and call a 1 beat loop, you'll hear 1/2 a beat that is looped every beat.
The FX can just sit there on and only when a loop is called does it effect the sound.
Some ways to use it are
in loop buildups cutting the sound of the loop can add even more energy.
In some instances just dancing the dial up and down can give a loop drumming sound
getting fills to repeat in phrase
[Say a tune has a great 8 beat fill every 64 that mixes nice with the other deck, set a 64 beat loop at the start of the fill and set the dial to 12.5%
8 beats played every 64]
I think there's an application for loop scratching [stop the back end of the loop playing when scratching the start of the loop [If that hasn't already been addressed by atomix]
