Oops! I think you mean clip it together.
It's best to use a dedicated audio editing software to do that job. DJ software (any) doesn't have that kind of editing ability.

one can only hope it was a spelling error.
but if he meant to blend it as in record a mix then I suppose that could work a bit as well.

My first choice would be Ableton Live, because of the warping capability (correction of varying tempo).
The Intro version would be good enough. It's much more than an audio editor, but if your goal is making remixes or re-edits then it's more than capable of doing the job.
You could do it with just an audio editor (i.e. Audacity) but you will be limited.

With action poi & correctly set beat gird you can can fully automate deck loading and transport controls.
Combined with the routine addon you can have pretty interesting mashups.
