I'm having a problem with Level 1 floating after sliding the control down. It jumps upwards and floats upwards when I trap Level 1 it bounces up like a spring causing the volume to go up.

Do you mean one of your faders are drifting in the software, even though you are not moving anything on the hardware?

Fader bleed, your fader is mechanically failing, try contact cleaner.
