I have made the switch to VDJ 8 finally about 4 months ago. I have noticed that some of the music videos twitch now. I never had this issue with VDJ7. There are no audio issues just the videos twitching on the screens. Gotta be a fix if 7 plays them fine. Anyone know what it is?

Is it a special video file type that makes problems?
What are your system specs?
Does is happen with "useDXVA" on and/or off?
Do you use an external monitor or just the video window?

the DXVA was off and I use an external monitor. I will try it on. What is DXVA?

Basically if DXVA is enabled it uses your GPU instead of CPU to calculate the video stuff.

This has been an issue for a while now. Several threads on it but the devs don't seem to be interested in fixing it.

Changing the DXVA to yes didn’t help at all. Some videos still twitch. Never had a problem in 7 just 8. I figured waiting as long as I did to make the switch all the bugs would be fixed. Guess I was wrong.

I still get the same intermittent video glitching in the latest early access build.

2 questions: what format are the videos and what bitrate are they?
