The last few weeks it seems like every time I open VDJ it starts renaming, WHY??
Why is it doing this?? Did I change a setting I shouldn’t??
My last gig I could tell my Mac was taking a hit because of it.
Why is it happening and how do I stop it??

There's probably a playlist with a file that has been moved.
In case it takes too long you can check the tooltip to get more info

Playing fine for the first hour tonight and then, bam!!
Been going for atleast 2 hours now, smh. Nothing was moved or touched as far as my library goes.

Ok so I had to finish out my night, it never went anyway.
But after checking the tooltip it said “Everything 0%”
So I started going through all my playlists and I do not have a list by that name.
I searched my Mac for it and nothing comes up.
So I went and moved all my playlist and I’ll enter them back in one by one until I figure out what is going on.
It’s almost 3am and I’ve had a long day, I’ll wake up tomorrow and check everything out again and report back.

A Virtual Folder with that name perhaps? Maybe on external drive?

That was it!!
Had an old filter folder buried deep within some other folders.
I deleted the folder and its no longer renaming.

Ok thanks, will check then since it's not supposed to include filter folders, but only virtual folders and playlists.

I have a same song in different folders. Is it possible to rename let say 1 song in one folder so it will be renamed in all folders. Without changing it in every folder.
