Topic: I have a confession to make.....
Atomix Ive been cheating on you, And I hate to say it but shes almost as good as you, maybe somedays even better. For my smaller shows Ive been using my Ipad with another software I wont name and a small controller. Its really nice to be able to walk into a venue carrying such a small bag for ipad controller and headphones plug in and go. I hope someday I can comeback to you and only you , but im really enjoying using this setup for smaller shows. I know its been asked before When are you going to create an Ipad app????

Nothing wrong with that
At he last Friday bar at my workplace I played music from my phone
So if you dont really need a full DJ setup it"s ok not to use a pro DJ tool like VDJ

I do the same thing with the GPD pocket and DJ2GO2.

Every bit as compact and you still get the same VDJ experience!

For smaller gigs, this is all I bring

The big news is that iOS 13 and iPadOS now have the ability to access files from external USB devices - i.e. flash drives, HDD etc.

Unfortunately in my case, the OS doesn't recognise my little portable HDD.

Are you using a powered usb hub? It reads my 64gb & 128 fb flash drive

Yes, a Belkin. It sees various flash drives I've tried, but not the WD My Passport Ultra (the one I really wanted to use, as it's big enough to have everything on).

[edit] It's because the WD is NTFS. Dammit!

Just tried my small hard drives. It wouldn't read either of them
