Hello,
The waveforms are not displayed smoothly anymore since I updated to the latest built. It certainly has to do something with this updated, I tested it on 2 laptops, on both the display was smooth before the update, and not at all smooth after the update. Any ideas? Any other people who experienced this?

What's the spec of the laptops that you used? What skin(s) are you using? What's your VDJ refresh rate set to? What skin engine are you using?

Try set higher SkinFPS in settings, for example 60

increasing the FPS does not help. Besides, that would not explain why all worked smoothly on the previous version, and now not anymore.

The video output is smooth, it's really only the waveform display that is really "choppy"...

What's your VDJ refresh rate set to? It was 30, tried 60, doesn't change a thing
What skin(s) are you using? Tried the built-ins performance, pro, starter, doesn't change a bit
Is the previous built still available? I want to switch back to it...

Aha! The GTX1050 is nVidia. There was an issue the other day with video files crashing VDJ, and it seemed to be happening on machines with nVidia graphics.
Build 5647 is supposed to fix it.

Thanks... i always run it with the built-in Intel graphical card instead of the NVidea, but it doesn't change a thing. How can I get to built 5647?

mine are fine with intel and nvidia 1060 on build 5647
as a matter of fact they were fine on all builds up to this one so must not effect all computers or could be an old driver issue for video?

may be related to the 09.2 fps video (theoric 9.6) and 08.2 fps skin reported by cpu meter... (with or without DXVA)

The situation remains the same.
When automixing using mp4 video, the waveform of the next song is not smooth.
I noticed during testing with BUILD 5647 that the mp4 files are loading very slowly.
I switched back to BUILD 5504 with no problem at all, so it seems that atomix has changed the video decoding logic since then.
I'll use 5504 until it stabilizes.
