Have you installed the drivers, and is the device firmware up-to-date ? https://www.pioneerdj.com/en/support/software/all-in-one-system/xdj-rr/
Also if you are on Mac, pay attention at the "Important notice for installing the driver software on macOS High Sierra 10.13 or later" you see there.
