I am quite new to working with VDJ8 - I have also used VDJ7. I find that then I turn LOW (or bass kill) down I can barely hear any difference. Is there any settings which can be changed on this which I dont know about?

In the Options under Audio , there are Equlizer Settins for Frequencies .
Set to Full Kill.
And the Settings for Frequencies by me ist this Setting.
Have look for Frequencies from good Original Hardware Mixers and than put this Frequencies in my settings.
They are the best i think in my Ears ;-)
LOW 100
Mid 1350
High 15000
Test it and found your best ;-)

Yes it depends on the frequencies set for each EQ knob - and depends on the speakers/headphones you're using to listen. Also on the type of track (whether it actually has any bass at the frequency of your low EQ).
