Can you upload the settings.xml file that causes the crash and post the link here ?
Or you get the crash without changing anything from the default settings ?

May not be much useful as the crash is related to the DDJ Asio, but curious to see what you have changed there.

i just tried the copy settings file, with and without DDJ turned on, and youre right, its the DDJ that causes the crash.

but i updated the driver and firmware and theres not much more to do from the controller side.

Should i update the driver once again?

Try renaming your Documents> VirtualDJ> settings.xml file while VDJ is closed then try again. Your settings file may be corrupted.

You previously said you were using Windows - but which version?

The DDJ-RR drivers require Windows 8.1 or 10.

ok so renaming the settings file does make vdj work again, but only for one time. at the second startup it crashes again.

please can anyone tell me a definitive solution to this?

There is one crash logged which appears to be the DDJ-RR asio driver crashing.

What settings do you have for your ASIO driver (latency/buffer size)? If you make it too small, it could be causing issues.

You could also try uninstalling the ASIO driver and just using WASAPI.
