I've had to move all of my mp3 titles to the Album field because Finder in Mavericks going forward to current Catalina breaks mp3 search if you have a title in the title field of the mp3 metadata. Does anyone know the proper code to get rid of values in parentheses of the Album field? For example if you have an mp3 with title metadata: "Under Pressure (Dave Aude Remix)" then the code: "get_title_before_remix" will output: "Under Pressure" with the "(Dave Aude Remix)" part removed. I'm looking for VDJ code like this that works on the Album field of the mp3 metadata.
