I know it's a lot to ask, but is there any way to get a cue function in the POI that will allow VDj to do bar countdowns to the next specified cue? Much like the memory cue function in Rekordbox?

cue_countdown will show beats to next cue ..
But just changing hotcue displays to beats left might be what you want.

@Rune, I know what you are talking about and that is not what I am looking for.
I am looking for something that can countdown BARS, from one "marker cue" point to the next "marker cue" point that would just show up on the wave display and not take up space in the hot cue list.
Pioneer has that feature called memory cue and is the one feature I wish VDJ had, and the only feature that keeps me from getting pro.

Showing on the waveform would be a challenge. Since the name is just static text that you set in the POI editor (for markers).
Might be something to add in future, to have dynamic/scripted text for markers.
