Also having this same issue. Have eliminated all of the Bloatware, have run LatencyMon which says everything is sunshine and happiness. The list of optimizations was posted in 2012 and does not reflect current pc configurations. This happens randomly and when I replay the song it does not happen again so it is not the mp3. HELP!!

Did you test to deactivate all wireless stuff?
Did you update the Intel drivers? (wireless, chipset, USB...bluetooth....)
What kind of HDD? SDD or normal HDD? How full? Music stored internally or external?
If external: what kind of?

Yes to all the above
256 sdd
no music is load on this computer it is fresh out the box.
All updates are completed
