the higher the more accurate the interaction ?

Most are between 1000 and 2000 hz.
If the frequency is higher then you can't accurately recognize the signal on fast scratches, so higher would not be better.

what is the VDJ ? Serato traktor?

it doesn't really matter, the frequency is just a carrier wave for amplitude modulation.

From Google: Traktor 2kHz, Serato and many other 1kHz

charliebuddrocker

that's why the Tractor has a more vinylly sound

I dont think so. As Adion wrote : Higher signal frequency leeds to information loss. With 1kHz you can scratch 22.05 times of the original speed and with 2 kHz you can scratch up to 11.025 times of the original speed before signal lost. So teoretical you can scratch faster with Serato before it stops react like a real vinyl.
So Traktor should be less like a real Vinyl for fast scratcher teoretical.

Also, VirtualDJ supports all of them, so you can try with different ones if you like.
VirtualDJ and Serato records use 1000Hz, RekordBox indeed uses 2000Hz.

Which records did you use to compare VirtualDJ and RekordBox DVS?

Although not exactly comparable, your Mixtrack Pro's jog wheel resolution is similar to 100Hz DVS record.

But at the same time, even Mixtrack in the Tractor and Serato scratches better.

it would be to choose in VDJ the algorithm of other programs for the controller
