Topic: Denon MCX-8000 and Recording
Hey all, I am aware that this unit has a special recording channel. I know that the default output volume is stupidly low, I have changed this to 16db in the firmware. I did some test recordings and everything was solid... But I go and do a set and that recording was clipped horribly. I have two main questions regarding this.

1 - How does the actual internal routing work as far as this signal originating and coming back into VDJ as an independent channel, where and how are vst's applied?

2 - I used to have an MC-3000 and I had zero issues with recording. Is there a way to get this behavior/routing back?

What was recorded is not what I am hearing live. I hear the per-deck effects on the recording, but I feel like the master effects are not applied. My waves are clipping at 0db when they should be clipped by my master limiter and show a very steady -2db. I can also say that the VDL master VU and clip meter does not indicate any clipping. I used the newest VDJ as of last week at least.

Thanks!
