I am installing a new back-up machine for the disco. With VDJ now installed on both machines, I wondered if there was a way I could export my personal settings from my main laptop to my back-up machine?
Thanks.
John.

Yes. As long as your file paths are the same, just copy your old VDJ folder (from the old computer) to the new computer.

you can also use the backup tool.

Thanks Rune.
Sorry for the late reply.
It wasn't possible to do any backups. In the end I found it simple enough to configure VDJ just how I wanted it in a matter of minutes.
Unfortunately, because of the available computers ('unavailable' more like) , I was forced to use an old 2006 machine! I know, you don't have to tell me, but it all worked fine. It already had Windows 10 on it (the 21H2 update!) and flew as fast as my new laptop - surprisingly!
I am about to invest in a new i5 laptop, but this was perfect fort he job in hand.
I am really impressed by how well VDJ just adapts itself so easily to any machine I have used over the years.
