I have a new MacBook M1 2021 with macOS Monterey version 12.4.
If I tried to load songs from the iTunes folders under Local Music, the deck shows an error "Unable to open file (check Preferences -> Privacy -> Files and Folders). But, I go to "Preferences -> Privacy" there is no "files and folders" option.
Also, the new "Music" version 1.2 does not have an XML as iTunes used to.
Does anyone know a workaround for this issue?

Can you see your files if you browse to them directly instead of through iTunes?
(Usually in Local Music->Music)
Strange that you don't see 'Files and folders' in Privacy settings though.
