Are you referring to any particular part? It all looks OK to me.
The instructions are correct. Log in with your user details, VDJ detects controller etc.

Usually we don't update the manuals after their initial release unless significant changes have been made to the software that requires us to do so.
Since the main concept of what's shown on the manual above and the current version is pretty much the same we didn't feel the need to update the manuals with the newer slightly modified log-in window, or the slightly more modern device detection window.
The main installation procedure and the main info shown on the page above is still valid.
