Clean Install of Windows 11, fully Updated
ASIO Audio Driver: 44.1kHz, 11ms latency
My Rane Twelve MK2 controller feels sluggish in VirtualDJ. I'm guessing a latency from input to response of about 75ms is present.
This is the case both with the Jogwheel and with Hot Cues. I have used the Rane Twelve MK2 extensively with Serato DJ Pro and the latency is much lower. I have also checked the Rane Twelve with a MIDI Monitor and that latency seems to be acceptably low as well.
I am very experienced with USB MIDI and HID controllers with DJ software, and one easy latency test is that I should be able to "tap" a Hot Cue on a downbeat, and it should play back as I heard it. In VirtualDJ, there is currently a delay of some fraction of a beat, so the played-back Hot Cue is "late".
Question: What file location does createMIDILog output to? I have that turned on but can't find the log.
