Hey team,
I'm a web developer messing around with VDJ and I've hit a snag I just can't figure out!
I'm sending midi signals from a javascript function through to my IAC Driver. So I should be able to receive those signals in VDJ and map them just like any other midi device.
VDJ is picking up the signal just fine in the mapping editor (I can see the button presses ON and OFF) but when I try to actually write out the map (eg beatjump +2) nothing is happening.
When I plug in an actual hardware device and do the same thing, it works fine.
Has someone tried this before? Am I missing something, or is there some kind of block on IAC Driver midi signals? Seems weird that VDJ can see the signal, but doesn't act on it.
I'm currently running a trial version of PRO licence.

Might have already got an answer here
http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/250645/VirtualDJ_Technical_Support/Does_the_Virtual_DJ_Pro_trial_mode_allow_for_custom_MIDI_mapping_.html?search=mapping&page=1
"The short answer is, that the free trial does not allow custom Midi mapping or definitions for none supported devices."
Would love a confirmation on that but if anyone else searches it up, there you go!
