Topic: HOW SEVERAL PERFORMERS SEPARATE
Hi, back in 2011 there was a question about how to do it with the genres. I thought it would also be logical if the semicolon also worked for the artist, but unfortunately that's not the case.

My plan is that I don't have every artist x times displayed in the filters with another associated one, so if I have, for example, Pingpong and Robin Schulz in a track, they are both individually in the filter. Just as you can do with the genres.

Maybe someone can help me or explain why this isn't working right now.

Greetings from the german west coast
Rob

There's no standard way for separating contributing artists.
This is something that's a major problem mostly for radio stations that have to report accurate playback data for royalties.
Anyway, since there's no standard way to separate artists and every once in a while a new way emerges, it's kinda impossible to take all of them into account.

Record Labels have used ",", "&", "vs", even "feat" or "ft" (when they shouldn't) and these days they tend to use "x"
That's just a small subset of all the ways they have tried. :P

I understand what you mean. For me it's really just about the fact that I've listed individual artists/interprets in the filters.
I like to work with filters.

Sorry if my english is to bad, but i use google translator to help.
