Yes I can confirm, I did this R&B mix with VirtualDJ.
If you like it, you can listen to the other one in this URL http://kbs.multimania.com/mix8_2.wma
Do not hesitate to leave your comments and impression.

At this end of this month, I will try to publish another R&B mix and I think it will be the longest one (at around 50 minutes).

DJ Doc Z now it’s your turn to impress us ;)

Very impressive. I don't play much r&b but I do throw in a few every hour. I currently use automix. There must be a pretty good difference between the programs. I can't wait to upgrade. I could only mix r&b nicely with either vinyl or final scratch (of course with the vinyl). Right now when I do my r&b's inbetween the house/hard house/trance/club music I must switch over to another completely different program which gives me nice fades. Keep up the good work. Nothing like a person who can master his craft. I am looking forward to the upgrade and maybe with the controller too.

coyote dj and GnoedeL thanks for you the compliment.

He uses mostly extended mixes such as funkymix, etc. Overall, good work, you have a very solid understanding of music concepts, I would recommend start spinning on turntables at this time. Also, for clean extended versions, with no clutters, grab good dj remix services, such as Top Secret, Lethal Weapon, Xmix Street Hitz, and Eargasm. They have a basic 4 bar intro, the song, and the outro. No remixes. They are best for blending, if you do not want to spend money buying two pairs of each record (that is if you are serious about djing and would like to move to turntables).

DJHypnotic, 10 years ago, I was a DJ in famous club in Tunisia (more than 500 per) using turntables. I quit this environment to follow university and my professional career.
I did this set of mix for fun and revive some good souvenir.
In my opinion and my experience a new generation of DJ is emerging and turntable is willing to be only old fashion (this is my personal opinion).
But thank you for the tips and advices

Good mix, I like it. Just a curious question though: Why .wma as opposed to .mp3? It seems like an extra effort just to record in .mp3 and convert it to .wma. (That is "if" you are using VDJ to record your mixes.) Keep mixxing!

Redman247, I am using wma because with this format I have less kbytes (good compression) and good quality.
I trying with mp3 and I didn't get the same result.

Kabansa, I agree, times are changing. I remember only vinyl, then I remember the cd coming in and I was rebellous to it. Now, I use cd as a major back up and would never leave the computer dj'ing field. In fact, I use computer for karaoke and for music videos, which is taxing.
