I think missing in this software is the 5th track in performance mode.
1. You have 4 records playing different stems.
2. You send these to the 5th track, which loops them together as one track.
3. Now, this allows you to change one of the other decks to maybe an area of the loop or add a different song for the next part of the mix.
This will allow you to free one of the decks for a different song to add it the next part of the mix.

I guess you mean "deck"
VirtualDJ supports "unlimited" decks. However they are not shown on GUI, but custom skins can show them.
I believe there are a few 6 deck skins available to check
