I am doing some additional maintenance with my library and originally had wiped out my remix field to be blank, and then eventually added CLN and XPL fields in there. But I am looking to reload all my data back in from the track field.
But this does not seem possible without some changes in file structure.
If I remove a song from the search db, then re-add, it ignores the remix field all together.
If I ask it to reload tags, nada.
Even if i remove, move the files to another location, then re-add, nada.
I see it uses the Album Version tag as the Remix tag but only seems to write it if it's a FLAC file. mp3 not supporting that tag?
Thoughts?

I think it uses subtitle in MP3 for remix

Right you are, subtitle for mp3.
m4a/ALAC seems to be database-only.

For m4a should be subtitle too

Unfortunately VDJ has some limited m4a support. I noticed this with a couple other tags a while back (https://www.virtualdj.com/forums/239045/VirtualDJ_Technical_Support/m4a__some_specific_tags__and_VDJ_.html) I don't think VDJ has the option to support it.

So now the question is, is there any way to do this natively in VDJ other than essentially wiping the database and starting fresh? Which technically I can do, but really don't want to unless there are no other options.
