if i unplug the ddj xp2. then stems are back at the pads area. the whole point of the xp2 was to be a pad area for stems. actually in some ways the xp2 sucks lol.
if i could launch a track with the xp2, i would take away the ni x1. is there a conflict between the two?

both are just a box of buttons nothing all that special or exotic about the mappings.
either device can do anything that can be scripted.

The XP2 has pre-defined Pad pages, but you can assign any Pad page you want (incl Stems) .. https://www.virtualdj.com/manuals/virtualdj/interface/decks/decksadvanced/pads.html#controller

djdad. oddly the xp2 does not get alone with the NI x1 xp2 (my launcher). as soon as i unplug the xp2. stems now suddenly appear. literally on my screen. work via mouse. but im going to post something else.
