I only found old topics with the same question/wish, but did not find an answer. Is it already possible to limit the amount of request per user or ID or give them a time out clock?
Last time I had 3 guests who spammed me the whole gig and pushed away the other people requests.
Soon I want to use the ask the dj again, but I'm afraid for being spammed again.

Well, depending on the quality of suggestions, it could be spam or ... inspiration.
Workaround:
Take a piggy bank, place it next to your booth, and indicate that it's $1 / €1 / ... for a request to be considered ;-)

LoL I love inspiration indeed that can help me understand my guests, but I don't need every song of all 30 albums from one artist within 2 minutes. 😉
The people who did this were very nice and we all laughed about this, but I did got some angry people asking why I didn't played any of their requests. I just didn't see them in time because of the request flooding from the 3 funny people.
No people were harmed during this performance 😀

I just stopped using the feature due to people taking the piss and thinking they are funny.

That's exactly the problem. And we Dutchies are cheap and not very well known with PayPal and we don't know anything about venmo. So activate the tip feature wouldn't be guest friendly over here.

Paying gig or not, its still up to you to decide what gets played or not. Your a "Dj" NOT a jukebox....

Correct, but I do want to play requests at some venues because they ask me for that feature. But when 3 people are requesting one artist hundreds of times because it's funny... all other requests from the other guests are deleted before I can see them because of the limitation amount of requests in the ask the dj folder

Well maybe get the staff to hunt them down and throw them out if it's affecting the quality of the work you do?
