If you want the ultimate soundcard go to www.audioscience.com and check out their new sound cards that were specifically manufactured and designed to deal with multiple MP3 files at the same time. Some of their products have 4 inputs and 6 outputs! They have the only soundcard approved by the Fraunhofer Institute that uses the Fraunhofer MP3 codec!!! I say these cards are for "Real DJ's" because they will set you back $1499 to $1999 (Two (2) "Real DJ" jobs will pay for this) Serious card - serious reliability - serious sound!!! |

| Posted Wed 01 Aug 01 @ 11:47 am Looks like a great card. However, I believe that unless the program is written to take advantage of its features, its just an overpriced sound card. ;)
Looks like its geared more toward broadcasters (radio and TV) because they also had alot of hardware MPEG-2 decoders there too. Grimm |
