It would be good to see an effect processor like on the pioneer DJM-600 mixer. Adding such effects like echo, delay, flanger, pitch shifter and a send return would add a much more creative aspect to the software that only high range mixers would give.

I have been looking several days for
some good plugin (found only buggy things):
EQUALIZER e.g. to remove voice or bass
Echo and Distortion for nice sounds
define point for loops in the mp3, so that you
can directly jump and loop e.g. an interesting voice
somebody wrote, that it would be nice, if it could
be choosen explecitly, what channels to hear and what
to write.... e.g. mix while hearing both channels
during writing of only one channel. There could be
a second crossfader for that, one for the ear one for
the recording. perhaps a chechbox to force them to be
on the same level.

In the meantime it might be worth looking at the features (Hardware) of your soundcard(s).
I've been experimenting with the "Environmental Audio" parameters of the SoundBlaster Live card, and I'm rather impressed by the results it provides.
