just wondering in the sound config what exactly is the difference between full & smooth ? as for me full jus sounds a bit louder ?? and what does it do ?

Grimm answered it in another message. It said:

"Smooth = Volume of each decks are about 3/4 full volume at the half-way point of the crossfader.

Full = Volume of each deck are at thier maximum at half-way point of crossfader. Just like a real hardware mixer.

Cut = When crossfader crosses the half-way mark, only the track on the side that the fader is on will be heard.

Hi !

When you don't use an external mix table, use the SMOOTH configuration. So the global volume in your main output will remain the same, even when the crossfader cursor is in the middle. (That is why the volume of each deck is a bit lower)

With the FULL configuration, the volumes of the two decks are always at their max. This is useful when you plug each output into an external mix table, which will then crossfade both channels.

I'm pretty sure that a hardware mix table crossfades in a SMOOTH way.
