I use 2 soundCards and with the VIA AC97, when i want to stop or pause a song, it still play for about 1 second, and that' s not very good for mixing or looping....
What can I do, except from D/Ling the latest driver for this card ???

The VIA AC97 is actually a software sound card, as it uses the processor and the chipset to process sound information....

This is weird, I'm using that sound chip (VIA onboard) with Atomix, and it works perfectly. Which OS do you use? Did you actually download the latest 4-in-1 drivers?

I've had that happen twice now... each time I threw in a CD and shut down Atomix, and re-booted the computer... Both times it stopped happening and worked fine the rest of the night.

Actually I get the solution : I install a new sound card !!! Now I have 2 hardware soundcard...
