Let's say you are performing and someone asks for a tune. You have a few cd's and the tune is on the cd. Now rather than playing it from the cd you want to rip it onto your gig box while another track is already playing. I know this can be done, the only problem is that the noise from clicking the mouse comes through the speakers. Is there a way of to do this without having the clicking be heard by eceryone. I tried to mute on somputer and this did not work.

you need to go into the 'control pannel', click on 'Sound and Audio Devices' click on the sounds tab aat the top and change the 'sound scheme' to 'no sounds'. this should fix your problem...

Click "Apply" and then "OK".
You are messing it up somehow.
I just did this yesterday after a reload.

I'm not sure where bogart is going wrong, but this is pretty common. You need to disable the windows sounds. Works for me.

Okay, here is exactly what I have done; Numerous times;
Ctrl Panel. Click sound/audio devices.
Clicked tab (Sound)
Went to Sound Scheme. (It was already on No sounds)
I clicked on No sounds again; The apply option is grayed out.
I went and changed to another scheme then back to No sounds. Again Apply grayed out.
I see where you can sae it as; but if I try that what will it do.? It won't let you save it as No Sounds.
I believe I read your suggestions correctly and followed them as well. But for some reason the apply stays grayed out.
