Topic: what do i need to use virtual dj using decks

hi i dont own a copy yet,

but i would like to know if i get the software does it come with a box so i can connect my 1210 decks to the programme and use the time vinyl? like vinyl scratch

No, it does not come with an interface box like Final Scratch, because in Virtual DJ, you do not need one. You can use your 1210's, or a cd player, as VDJ utilizes Timecoded vinyl and Timecoded cd's.

You'll probably want to get a sound card with enough inputs and outputs too. The Maya 44 USB seems to be a popular choice, although it is not regarded as a high quality card. I have two of them and they work pretty well with VDJ and timecode.

You'll also need to buy the timecoded vinyl from this site.

how do i then connect my laptop to the decks/mixer and sync it up?
