I have read on other boards that certain DJ programs offer support for a wireless remote control. It would be especially helpful when performing at weddings and you need to change volume, pause, play, skip, etc... when you're not behind your computer.
Has enyone found a wireless remote that allows for easy hand-held operation of these features?
I have tested one basic presentation remote and the only keystrokes it would allow me to map (besides using the mouse cursor which won't help at all) were the up and down arrow (normally used to navigate slides in powerpoint)
Please post links to controllers that you think would work well for this application.
Thanks!

Hmm, where exactly would you be, if you weren't behind your computer ;)
SOME of the Creative Audigy cards had remotes, which could be good for controlling the volume, at least, but no use if you already have a soundcard.
You could also try a Media Centre remote, for the same thing, it allows you to use a few different keystrokes (of which im not sure, but the numbers 0-9 are in there)
Other than that, I'm not really sure of other remotes that would do the job.
