for anyone with ati card having problems with hardware accel. try uninstlling the catalyst but leaving the ati drivers this seems to be fixed by taking away the catalyst. That's only if your having problems with the ati card.

That's nice to know, is there dedicated software for ATI tv output like TvTool for Nvidia? Tvtool is also discotinued last year, is there some new Tv software?

why would u need that? my ati card turns on and shows on the tv just fine with no special dirvers i just have it on 60hz

It was needed in the past duo to bad Tv output in Nvidia drivers. Nowdays is ok, I guess. ATI was always better with quality in Tv out, so is with the drivers.

or if you are really l33t u´ll use drivers from www.omegadrivers.net
Been running on those drivers since the begining of the year and never had any problems ;)
