This has been asked already some times before. You would have a beast of a machine to play 2 vide tracks, some transitions and convert vide analog to digital en encode to avi all at once.
Try to get an old vcr or dvd (hard disk) recorder, or another pc to record to.

Yes the latest version has a Record Video feature.
