Most trance, Dance, House all have a steady tempo there all pretty easy to mix, if you want to learn more you can go to the mix lessons forum http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/15/Mix_lessons.html

Keep in mind mixing the easy music isn't gonna improve you a whole lot, eventually you'll have to try the harder stuff

Shockwave, a good starting point for mainstream dance music are compilations like Ultra Dance Series. Most of these type of compilations are mixed but are great for using as a reference. Good luck!

just find something that starts with a beat. Avoid intros. And use tracks that don't fade out, so that you have to do the fading. Just grab a few tiesto tracks or something like that and just play. The only difference between you and a champion mixer is practice. That's it. Just practice those basic beats.
If you really just starting out, find two tracks with the same BPM too. Try these 2 Darude tracks , 'Music' and 'Be With You'. They are the same BPM and really simple rhythms. Start by playing 'Be With You' and mixing in 'Music' when it's comming to an end. Good luck man, keep us posted.
Remember - LOTS of practice - don't give up

I don't recommend using these compolations. Many of them are already 'premixed' which makes them very hard to learn on.
