Wasup VDJ community,
I have downloaded the demo for VDJ and have been testing out the software and I'm loving it.
I just recently purchased the Hercules MK2, which comes with a version of VDJ(so i will be registered within the week).
I wanted to know if my sound card(M-Audio 2496) will be good enough to work with both VDJ & the MK2. I have done searches in the forums and read some of the topics about my soundcard, but I have not seen anything with the combonation of the 2496 and MK2 & VDJ........
I'm thinking on using a external mixer and eventually I will be either using either Pioneer 800 MKII's or the Stanton CDJ's....I have not decided as of yet but for now I will be using the MK2 w/ VDJ and an external mixer.
If anyone has any insight with a correct setup or different ways I could set up VDJ, could you share. Thank you in advance in this......

heya , the mk2 it self is a sound card
so u could set it up like this
cept forget the external mixer bit and obviously cds instead of turntables
ul need to burn 2 x
timecode cd
http://www.virtualdj.com/products/timecode/VDJTimeCode.mp3
burn them as audio disks
now for software setup
http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/58120/Hardware_Technical_Support/Guide_To_set_up_tcv_with_mk2_console__)_.html
except on timecode menu u press timecode cd not vinyl
that should get you running
your other sound card on its own which i assume only has one input will not be able to support time code easily
hope that helps
