Topic: the CONSTRUCTIVE thread about BCD2000........ [VDJ 4.1 RELEASED AND WORKS] - Page: 3

Dieser Teil des Themas ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten

I am for one VERY sorry that BCD did not quite make it to the VDJ4 release, as it seems ASIO dont work good.

Just not that Behringer itself says that they ARE working on new drivers to make the console work with VDJ, in other words saying that their driver is not working like it should.

Adion from DjDecks seems to have had better luck with the drivers, and I'm sure VDJ (and Behringer) will make sure it works in the very soon to come 4.1 upgrade...

Sorry guys, but first try was not the best. I understand the frustration, but please know that this is not something thats intentional from nether Behringer or VDJ, and I'm sure a solution will come really soon.

Regards

You need to stop with the lies and fix the software. We don't believe you anymore.

Thats ok Digitalmdj ...
Your prerogative...

I'm not the maker of VDJ, only trying to get the issue resolved by starting a constructive adult thread.

The only software I know tha has issues with the BCD ASIO drivers is VDJ.. anything else works fine (and I tried at least 10 different audio apps). If Behringer is gonna 'fix' it they will in fact be doing Atomix job for them.

The ASIO interface in djDecks needed no update to work with the BCD, which sortof proves the point I am trying to make..

Now.. to get this piece of kit working...

well Paul, I do resepct you, but you know thats not true...

Even the makers of the official software for the Behringer console knows that the driver sucks

"most (if not all) of your stability problems are because of the BCD2000 driver (made by Behringer, not by us), and it's incompatibilities with your system. There are many workarrounds for this, search in the forums"
- vim / Xylio-software

And if thats not enough even Behringer says the drivers needs fixing.

I'm glad that the BCD2000 works ok in B-DJ, and DjDecks. Good work form Vim and Adion.

I'm sure VDJ will fix it too...

To put this in context, his remark was made in response to users complaining all sorts of stuff started happening after the B-DJ update.. If teh statement is true these issues should also happen with any other Audio app using the BCD which is not the case..

well, ask Behringer ;)

Anyways.. VDJ is working on it, and hopefully resolved soon

and as said, it worked in VDJ 3.4, and Dev Team will figure out why there is a conflict in VDJ4....

HEY this is my on video....LOL ...I going to upload another where you can see that I used BCD such a ASIO sound card (for uisng TCV) and the midi controler.....but let me know ere to upload it so most peolple could watch it.

Here we go again, is there another show coming up wherefore we have to wait until next release/update?

Norway: I know it’s not your fault and you are trying to help all of us but honestly when you read all previous posts on the BCD & VDJ and the promises that were made for the next release ….. I’m sure you understand that being frustrated is a major understatement.

@juliocqb
youtube ;) works great...

and I remember somebady asking for track name..." rock and house by dj quintana"

Yes I do! I had the Hecules console 3 years back, and most dj software tried to make good support and failing, including VDJ. I was very very frustrated... But it all worked out great in the end.
Now I have the mk2 model of the console, and use it 3 times a week at live gigs... and damn happy I stuck with VDJ, that fixed it in the end...

I understand the frustration totally, been there too...

Yep same here I’ve started with the HDJC and went for the BCD as upgrade instead of the MK2.
But on the HDJC there were no promises made, VDJ was working on it and it turned out to be very good step by step but in the BCD story a full support by the program was promised for the next release V4.
They should have stayed honest and tell us BCD users that they would work on it but not state it would be fully supported in the next release

BCD2000 never crashed for me with djDecks..
The only problem about ASIO drivers is that only one application can use it. For example Winamp doesn't run at the same time.

@pelgrims

totally agree, and sorry that I dont have the Behringer console.. so that I could test.

in retrospect, we should have had more users testing the beta with the console, and I've already talked to some that will help out for next version, making SURE that it DOES work.

I understand you frustration totally, but in the heat of the moment with many new features to test, and focus maybe being on first of all being on the new audio engine and standard VDJ features, I totally see that more time should have been made for the BCD2000 development too...

Like Hercules, the BCD2000 issues will be fixed too...

Not true.. It all depends on the way they are implemented. My RME HDSP RPM even allows mixed ASIO and WDM access at the same time..

@paulheu: I agree it is a behringer specific problem.

Hey DJ-in-Norway here is te video that I told you, see if you could post it here

Everithing worked ASIO drivers, MIDI CONTROLER and EVERITHING on 3.4

@ Norway

You are right let’s keep up the trust :-) anyway Unfortunately I broke my leg a few days ago so whenever you need a BCD owner for tests I’ve got some free time the comming weeks.
