Hi there, why is the sample volume so low in v.4? The samples I recorded with 3.4 sound banging loud compared to those I've recorded with v.4 so far.... In v.3.4 the samples got recorded according to how loud your channel volume was. In v.4, the channel volume, even the gain, does not affect the volume of the sample. Even at the maximum volume the samples sound very very low, which makes the whole sample module unusable.
Hope we get a fix for this too!!!

I reported this also as soon as 4.0 came out. Eq also does not affect the recording of the samples. I hope to see changes and improvements soon (4.2) to this bug or defect.

Totally... I'm glad I'm not the only one that's noticed. It renders the whole sample module unusable, and that's one of the coolest things about VDJ!
Perhaps this can be fixed together with the mapping for MK2 bug in release 4.1b / 4.2?
Any ideas as to when this will happen?

yeah, and it does not always correctly sync on the beat :-(
but it was said that sampler will be improved in later versions, other topics had higher priority....

It is corrected in 4.1. if you have a 5.1 or 6.1 sound card you can now map the sampler to it's own two channels.
The reason it is "Low" is becaue its being split across both deck a, and deck b. If you don't have spare channels, do what I do, leave both deck A and B live on your mixer when you use it. Thats prob better for those using the sampler for promos and stings.
I Would like to see and extra sound config with "map sampler to assosiated deck" or jast assign it to A or B maybe.

Well in my 4.1 it's not corrected. I cant change the gain and the eq on the sample before recording like 3.4. It records at one gain and eq level. Hope to see improvements SOON. The problem now its not so much the output but how each sample gets recorded and played.
