i know the "Evolution" X-Session midi controller has been discussed here for a while
also know a few are using it in their setups
i did a recent search again and ....

it has pretty much all you need except the wheels

maybe you could use the cross fader for the video fader, and mix your tracks using the faders? thats what I would do. No sound card is a prob, but as far as a portable controller, this might do the trick! But you are still gonna have to use a main mixer to cue each channel....think of this controller like a DAC, only one step above because you can control volume too. I wonder, is "instant start" a viable idea using this controller, or will there be some latency in starting the track?
