Hello Everyone.....Figured I throw this out there and see if anyone had any idea's.
I recently figured out that my laptop has a video out on it. So what I have been doing lately is hooking up to the video screens where i dj and having my Virtual DJ screen show up on the Tv's and Big screens where I DJ.
This brought me to my next idea. I'm wondering if there is a software application that will moniter my output of VDJ and Sync visualizations with the Beat of the Music. I recently download NEROMix from www.nero.com It has an awesome visualtion built into it...but you have to actually be playing the music through the NEroMix player in order for it to work.
Any ideas anyone?"?

winamp will do this (search the forum for the details), also if your into more advanced and customisable live mixing of visuals with external controllers etc. check out ArKaos VJ. it is an awsome program although alittle on the expensive side. check it out at http://www.arkaos.net/ im pretty sure you can download a demo. (you can also put effects on live video feeds etc if you want

What you can do with winamp is use your sound card's line in to have instant visualisations. To do this, choose the option to add a URL in winamp, and type "linein://" as the URL.
You can then route the sound through the line-in of your soundcard and have winamp's visualisations. This setup is ideal when you have a PC dedicated to visualisations, but I'm sure there are other ways to have visualisations on the same PC as VDJ (even though I'm not sure if it's a good idea since VDJ already uses a lot of resources).

Currently I run another "visual" rig, this rig handles all the onscreen visuals (using R4) and is "controlled" via http from my laptop which runs VDJ, Martin LightJockey 2 and http control of on screen messageing etc.
