Hi,
I don't know if this is a bug. I do experience other already posted issues, but this one is caused by a fault of mine.
My home pc is able to manage correctly one console at
best quality (default settings, except that buffer is set to 1024, overclock and safe mode off )
when i use more than one console, i switch to one step from the left (basically the old good vdj 3.4)
with default settings, overclock and safe mode off .
today I forgot to lower the performances
and was mixing with two instance of vdj. no hw has attached today.
after almost one hour (strangely everything was going right)
consolle 1 2 decks playing, both keylock active (delta pitch was 5%)
consolle 2 2 bases playing, but one in headphones only, both keylock active (delta pitch 0%, both 20% respect to the other instance)
(I don't remeber the exact position of the knobs)
I pitched up using key_offset on consolle 2, on the non audible deck, and the cpu usage shifted to the maxium. obviously the output became craccky.
After I stopped and unloaded all the decks, the cpu continued to cycle at 100% used by consolle 2.
I waited for more than 20 minutes, and the closed consolle 2. the cpu stopped cycling.
Ignoring the performance configuration, Is it normal that the vdj continue cycling after that abnormal condition?
thanks
Pier

sounds like your ram and cpu filled up
so both instances hung
try lowering the proformance tab as you said :)
