in STANTON STR8-80, it's right beside the RCA.. you can use any kind of wire to connect it to the mixer.

TCV doesn't work in HOME EDITION.

doesnt it give you 5 min test period???

geposted Thu 16 Nov 06 @ 1:11 am
It does give you five minute testing to one deck, but as far as I know the hercules mk2 and dj control are the only supported hardware in the 3.4 DJC edition (home edition). However, you do get a discounted price on pro edition for having registered the mk2/ dj control;^]

ok thanks for all your help guys...

i got new RCA cables
grounded the mixer.

and now it almost works perfectly.

2 NEW questions...

i am using the 4.2r demo and both turntables/songs are coming out of on a single channel (the same channel) on the mixer instead of being seprated left/right
and the sound is choppy just regular playing

for the Channel Problem.

Make sure you set Ch1&2 for LEFT and CH3&4 for RIGHT.

For choppy sound.

Go to Performance and move it all the way to the LEFT (Fastest) then gradually move it right until you find the BEST and non-choppy quality. Now, if non works, it's best to leave it to Fastest

thanks about the channel info...... that is the box that says input channels in configon the bottom for 1,2 left and 3,4 right???

yeah i checked that.. but it seems like both turntables want to play through one channel.

is there another setting in the mk2 that needs to be made??

THANKS IN ADVANCE for all the help!!!

You were talking about INPUT

For the OUTPUT...

Put Ch1&2 (LEFT) & CH3&4 (RIGHT) -- OUT (FROM MK2) to the INPUTS OF YOUR MIXER. (ie. line1 for (CH1&2) and line2 for (CH3&4)

I don't own a Hercules MK2 so I really don't know.. But I'm guessing that's how it is.
