i am interested in buying a controller for vdj for scratching and basic operation. but its so hard to decide does anyone have any comments or ideas on which one i should go for. As i am not guaranteed that there will be working turntables at some of the venues i vant to stay away from vinyl and the scratch cd players eg. cdj 1000mk2 are just way to expensive. The dm2 looks good but i cannot find reviews that link it to vdj. the xp10 looks good also but have heard alot of problems with vdj crashing when using them. all advice apreciated.

some ideas for you :
for pro use id use the xp10 the dm2 is only good for home mixing
if your tight for space or using a rackuse a da3 or dac2
if you are looking for a soundcard try a mk2 console
the answer is that there is no best , its down to what suits your needs :)
Hope that helps
