As a newbie to virtual dj (home edition) i may be being stupid here.
Whenever i down load song from (for example) limewire, i then drag it into itunes. And from i tunes i drag it into Virtualdj and it plays perfectly.
However when i copy a cd into itunes direct from cd itself, and then drag the song into virtualdj, it doesn't play??? why is this???? can anyone help me???

Sounds like Itunes is either ripping the CD into an unsupported format (like the AAC Apple standard), or it's adding some kind of DRM protection type thing that isn't supported by VDJ. I'm not familiar with Itunes, so that's a bit of a stab in the dark I'm afraid, but check that it does indeed rip to MP3, maybe there's a setting for this? I rip my CDs to MP3s using windows media player, and it works just fine...
