I keep getting occasional stuttering when mixing and using any of the effects. I've upgraded the graphics card and memory so it isn't that. Is there a particular setting that I should tweak that might be an easy fix? It's a bit frustrating since the older version on VDJ seemed to work smoother.
Thanks

First off all 4.x can run exactly like 3.x ... ;)
Its just a matter or lowering the settings..
And this is the core... VDJ 4.x allows user to fine tune their own settings to match the power of his/her PC. Now, the most common "mistake" done is that the user tries to high settings.
Remember for the HQ master-tempo/Keylock, you should have a pretty damn powerfull PC, even dual core.
So, just go to performance setting :
- Turn Master tempo to FAST
- Lower performance slider until you have YOUR setting
- And if you want "real" 3.4 performance, turn on safe mode.
ALSO, remember, that latency settings means a lot.
The most safe way is to set it AUTO! That works for any soundcard.
Hope that helps ;)

Could you please give me an Example of a powerfull PC?
What would you rate my PC specs http://www.virtualdj.com/blog/paulettecerra/?category=0

Your PC is on the weak side. You should just throw it in the......... I'm only kidding. Your PC is Hot enough. Power is not your problem.
