I have read a number of queries regarding plug ins and tried to follow the reccomendations but I'm unable to get sonique effects during audio playback. I have the Numark Cue software and did select the plugin from the video configuration box. Also activated the sonique effects from video effects. Am I missing something else. Please advice. Thanks in advance

In the Video setting tab, check the option that says "use this plugin for audio play", and write sonique in the value box;)

That was one of the first things I did as I had read about it in one of the earlier posts. Do I need to unzip or execute any files from the plugins folder or video effects folder

yeah, true.. you need to unzip the Sonique zip (if you downloaded from VDJ site), and go to Sonique effect in the effect browser, and at the far right side, locate the folder you have unzipped the plugins at.
then in video settings, activate sonique as the plugin to use for audio only.
that should do it ;)
