I may be wrong, but i don't think VDJ records videos, it only records the music to an MP3 file.

you need a nice purchased legal copy of vdj pro and a copy of www.fraps.com (fraps video )

Talking of purchased copies,
Is there any news on the release date of virtual vinyl yet (thats what i'm waiting for)
I've gone through 2 second hand laptops each with the trial version on and my new one only has a few days of trial left, and i've already used the Numark trial! lol

Skyfxl,
What's wrong with someone using a legally downloaded demo version of VDJ to try record video?
Do you make a commission each time you tell a potential VDJ buyer to purchase a legal copy like insinuating his demo version is not legal. The demo version is a legal copy for the period usable!
I think it's time for someone to create a "NON OFFICIAL" VDJ forum somewhere else so we don't have to keep reading the same speech each time a newbie with a demo version comes and asks a question on this forum...
As I've said in the past... LET THE REAL STAFF OF VDJ THEMSELVES POLICE THEIR FORUM and whether or not a person has an illegal version!!! By the way, who are the real staff that are paid to moderate this forum(name a few please)? Is there actually someone from VDJ that spends time moderating or helping others with questions on this forum or only paid customers of VDJ with questions and answers?
If you see a person that's been using the same name and hasn't registered over the last year or so, they are probably using a cracked version but a name that has never been on this forum in the past and asks a question for the 1st time, don't pressure them to purchase the software in the smart ass way you do(not only you!). It doesn't only piss him off, it pisses others off as well.
Peace out,
Funkmasterfrank

i would think that maybe another option to recording video is to output that extended desktop signal to a capture card or external tuner, like the Hauppauge WinTV USB, connected to another computer. It'll also accept the audio. Make sure to fire up the capture software.
