Hi.
Terribly sorry if this topic was already posted or if the question is too "juvenile".
Can I use the software Virtual DJ to play my MP3 files with my CDJs? I would connect the mixer on the PC (via an Audio Board/Interface). Is it possible?
If positive, I'd like to know if the answer is good. If it really have a good sensibility, i mean, if it is the same (or almost), same thing as playing with the CDs.
Also, it would be good to know which is a good PC configuration to run the software with a perfect performance on the CDJs.
Thank you very much!

Hey skyfxl !!!
Thank you very much for your answer.
I realized that is plenty possible to use Virtual DJ with my CDJs.
But now I'd like to know if someone here at the FORUM have already tried to work with this setup.
Please tell your experiences, if it really have a good stability, if the answers on the jogs are as quick as it is on the CDJs. A 512 RAM laptop could run the program with full response?
Tks again for the support!

Currently, I'm operating VDJ using CDJ 1000 MkIIs. So far, it's been really reliable although I've used it all of 3 times and only during 1hr sessions. No hiccups just yet and none that I can see.
The jog works almost as quick as a CDJ running a regular CD with a very slight delay that wasn't a factor to me during regular cueing and beat matching/mixing. And by slight delay I mean barely noticeable. If you've never used CDJs with regular audio before, you wouldn't even know the delay existed.
I'm not sure if your system specs are good enough to run with the same amount of responsiveness than I'm getting simply because I've never tested the system with 512 mb of RAM. Hopefully someone else can answer that question for you.
Also, the cueing works similarly to CDJs in Vinyl mode as opposed to CDJ mode meaning that the audio doesn't stutter when cueing. It's either dead silence during pause or "vinyl" sound while jogging.
